CafeX executive will use real-world deployments to illustrate the impact of real-time communications on businesses at Global WebRTC Summit
April 12, 2016, London, UK – CafeX Communications®, a leading supplier of mobile and web engagement solutions, announced that Dave Phillips, its managing director, will speak at the Global WebRTC Summit in London. The conference is recognized as a leading venue for bringing together vendors, developers, and users to share information and experiences regarding real-time communications. CafeX is a show sponsor and will be exhibiting a broad range of real-time communications and collaboration solutions during the event.
Phillips will participate in a panel discussion today, April 12 at 10:30am in the session “Real World Examples of How Companies are Driving Real Business Outcomes from Real-time Communications”. In his remarks, Phillips will discuss the positive business outcomes that are being realized through deployments of CafeX’s WebRTC-based Live Assist® with leading global financial institutions and insurance providers.
In addition, Phillips will provide perspectives on some of the challenges businesses have encountered with WebRTC deployments and strategies. Using CafeX’s recently announced Chime video collaboration platform as an example, he will describe how WebRTC technology can be augmented to enable any browser to be a fully functioning collaboration endpoint, compatible with existing room- and network-based platforms, without the need to download or install special software.
Alan Quayle, conference chair, and owner, Alan Quayle Business & Service Development: “CafeX is instrumental to building momentum for enterprise WebRTC adoption. I am looking forward to Dave participating on this panel, providing our audience with an opportunity to benefit from CafeX’s experiences. It is always interesting to hear the lessons learned from those working at the coal-face of delivering innovations that impact enterprise business operations world-wide.”
David Philips, managing director for EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, CafeX: “While CafeX has been very successful in delivering value to our customers with Live Assist, we have also learned a great deal about the challenges associated with WebRTC—and how to overcome them. We are pleased to participate in this conference, and look forward to sharing our perspectives with the attendees.”
