Encompassing strategy includes partners from different segments to address diverse customer needs
November 24, 2014, London and Sydney – Building on successful growth globally, Acano today announced the addition of four new Australia-based partners to Acano’s select partner network. New partners Insync Technology, Coevolve, InViewUC, and Pro AV Solutions join Dimension Data in the region. Each of the new partners takes a different approach, including Microsoft Lync integration, network optimization/application integration, teleconferencing, and AV/IT.
Acano selected the five based on sales and technical expertise, customer service and the ability to provide professional services. This selection strategy ensures that Acano is represented consistently and with quality results, while enabling its trusted partners to differentiate themselves and maximize their opportunities.
Collaboration solutions touch many parts of a network. Enterprises can choose the partner that best meets their needs to deploy Acano, or work with multiple partners for a comprehensive approach. For example, an AV partner can team with a Lync integrator.
According to the partners:
“Universal communications anywhere on any device is part of the Insync DNA. Acano complements Microsoft Lync and now Skype for Business, helping us break down established silos of communication in organizations. We can now provide a solution for customers to maximize their investment in videoconferencing technology while integrating with Lync and Skype for Business, and newer technologies like WebRTC — without changing the end user experience.”
Nathan Belling, General Manager of Microsoft Lync integrator Insync Technology.
“Together with Acano, Coevolve can make our clients more agile while optimising their current collaboration investments. The highly scalable Acano solution enables our clients to use mobile devices, Lync endpoints, web browsers and room-based systems to seamlessly access virtual meeting rooms. With Coevolve’s expertise in end-to-end monitoring and performance management, clients receive a fully managed service with a consistently high-quality user experience.”
Tim Sullivan, cofounder and CEO of network optimization/application integrator Coevolve.
“InViewUC chose Acano for its nimbleness and the ability to meet our customers’ scale and stability needs. We can deliver industry-first solutions using Acano’s scale on audio ports, and offer failover and redundancy with Acano’s flexible licensing. Acano’s API functionality and cost-effective customization further enables us to meet the unique needs of our customers as well as differentiate ourselves in the market.”
Glenn Makowski, CTO, of teleconferencing provider InViewUC.
“With Acano, Pro AV Solutions can meet the growing requirements of our customers today, and in the future as AV and IT converge. Acano’s scalable, cost-effective capacity addresses the increased bridging and collaboration needs of our customers. At the same time, we can create unified communication solutions that capture the imaginations of our clients with Acano’s ability to securely connect mobile devices of all types with conference room video systems.”

Expanding the select partner network in Australia represents one more leap forward in Acano’s commitment to the region. Earlier this year Acano hired industry veteran Michael Chetner as General Manager for Australia and New Zealand, added technical staff, signed on distributor Transition Systems, and demonstrated tight integration with Lync and Skype at Microsoft’s TechEd conference.
According to Michael Chetner, General Manager, Australia and New Zealand, for Acano, “We’ve carefully selected each foundational partners for their high-growth culture and innovative approach. Acano’s go-to-market strategy for 2015 is to work closely with them to drive successful customer relationships throughout the region, and expand our select network as momentum grows.”
“Following the rapid adoption of Acano in the US and European markets, Acano is now pursuing the Australian market. Our enthusiasm for the market has been validated by having four highly-respected partners join us within a very short time in the market,” says Larry Satterfield, Global Vice President of Sales at Acano.
