LONDON and NEW YORK, September 8, 2014 – Today Acano announced partner Collaboration Squared will offer Acano’s audio/video/web collaboration platform as a cloud solution. With the new service, called Ubiety, service providers and resellers can ramp up an audio, video and web cloud service offering quickly. Ubiety will be unveiled at the Cloud Partners Conference & Expo in New Orleans, LA, today.
- The Ubiety service is based on the Acano audio, video and web conferencing platform.
- With Ubiety, Service Providers can integrate Microsoft Lync and traditional video conferencing systems from Polycom and Cisco.
- Virtual meeting rooms called coSpaces are accessible from any device, including PCs, tablets, smartphones, Lync and Jabber clients, and traditional video conferencing systems.
- Unmetered global dial-in phone conferencing access included in over 40 countries for no additional per minute costs.
- Hybrid on-prem with cloud option available for enterprise customers.
The Ubiety service is purchased based on the number of hosts, all on a month-to-month contract basis starting from just $99 a month per host with 25 participant virtual meeting room capacity. The Enterprise pricing tier starts at 25 hosts at a discounted price with additional participants per meeting and unlimited virtual meeting rooms.
Collaboration Squared believes in giving back and is providing a certified carbon-neutral service, and will also donate a conference minute to a charitable cause for every conference minute used on the Ubiety platform. The more Ubiety customers collaborate, the more those that need it most can collaborate.
