InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit the H-Chat to appropriate companies for their consideration and potential interest.
December 15, 2014, Pittsburgh, PA – An inventor from Yuba City, Calif., knows how difficult it can be to use smartphones for video chatting, so he conceived of a solution to this problem. “I conceived of this design as something to prevent my niece from hurting her arms by holding her smartphone away from her face while face-timing,” he said.
He then created a prototype of the H-CHAT, a kit that provides an alternative way to conduct a video chat. By eliminating the need to hold a smartphone away from the face, it avoids strain and makes it easier to use the phone for this purpose. Overall, it promotes convenience and enjoyment.
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
