Day two of TEAM Polycom 2015 kicked off at the JW Marriot in Orlando, Florida, with a keynote address from CEO Peter Leav. He shared with the more than 600 partners in attendance how we will “Go Beyond” together to drive profitable growth.
He shared examples of Polycom sales and partner teams around the world going beyond to win customers by broadening sales with “sticky and unique” solutions like APIs, infrastructure, endpoints, services, and more. Jonathan Bourke, CIO of The Martin Agency, joined Peter on stage to share how his agency uses Polycom solutions.
“We use Polycom in a different way,” said Jonathan. “Polycom is a verb that we use to talk about the process of innovation. For us, Polycom means quality.
When asked about what the workplace of the future means to The Martin Agency, Jonathan shared, “Polycom does something interesting for us. For us to create great ads, we need great people. We need to give them an environment where they can come up with all these great ideas. We need the workplace of the future to be a place where talent will come and talent will stay, around the world. Our workplace is anywhere. Our mission is any content, any device, anywhere.”
Later Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Skype for Business Zig Serafin joined Peter on stage to discuss the importance of our partnership and the future of Skype for Business.
“Our goal is to deliver true hero products designed to work between what Polycom and Microsoft are bringing to market,” said Zig. “We have a unique partnership and an incredible joint opportunity.”
