CIOs were faced with two announcements recently that will continue to make IT decision-making complex for multi-vendor environments: Microsoft’s Skype for Business and Cisco’s Project Square. Microsoft and Cisco each have their strengths, and when these new products finally become available CIOs will again be facing the costly decision: do I need to go all-in on one vendor?
The answer is “no,” according to Acano CEO OJ Winge. At the recent Gartner Symposium in Barcelona, OJ told CIOs how companies like Vodafone and Astra Zeneca are simplifying IT decision-making and improving the adoption of Unified Communications.
