September 23, 2014, Atlanta, GA – Architects and Interior Designers face challenges in incorporating a vast array of audio/video and communication technologies into the design of today’s dynamic workspaces. During the AIA North Carolina Design Conference being held from September 24-27, 2014 at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte, NC, attendees can gain insight into not only the most current technologies available, but knowledge of how to seamlessly blend the components and applications into their clients’ designs.

AIANC 2014 “Community Building(s)” will highlight what the design profession builds and creates. Technical Innovation, a leading design/build systems integrator, will be in Booth 300 displaying a versatile digital signage solution from Christie Digital, Christie Micro Tiles. Micro Tiles are a Modular Digital Signage solution that provide the ultimate digital canvas. Attendees will be amazed by the image quality with their vibrant, true-to-life colors and by the flexibility the tiles allow in creating designs of varying shapes and sizes.

Crestron Electronics’ video conferencing and control solutions, including their wireless Air Media will also be available to sample. Dan Lumsden, Regional Director, TI Carolinas, explains “TI will be demo’ing cutting edge technology for state of the art workplaces. Users are asking for a consistent user experience across an enterprise and we can help them achieve it.”

The TI Carolina team will be on hand to introduce these technologies and answer questions on design considerations and integration, enterprise solutions, market-specific applications, design documentation and deliverables and more. Attendees will also learn about TI’s industry partner program that includes continuing education opportunities for AIA.

Lumsden adds,”We understand the ‘open’ design concepts that are the backbone of current facility projects.” He and his team invite attendees to their booth starting Thursday morning, for ongoing demonstrations.
