February 1, 2017, Campogalliano, Italy, Reno, Nevada – HRT announces that it has hired Eric Murphy as General Manager, Americas. Mr. Murphy joined HRT in November 2016 with the task of launching HRT USA, Inc. and introducing Huddle Hub One to the Americas. Mr. Murphy opened the first US office in Reno Nevada due the attractive business climate for startups and the strong presence of logistics partners.
Mr. Murphy is responsible for growing partnerships and developing the organization that will support HRT products in the evolving collaboration market.
Murphy brings more than 20 years of domestic and international management experience in collaborative communication organizations including Sony, Polycom and Bechtel. Murphy’s first of several startup adventures was Via Video where he came to Polycom as part of the acquisition. Mr. Murphy earned a Masters degree in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Mr. Murphy noted: “Huddle Hub One is unprecedented collaboration technology that captures the meeting experience evolution occurring in our market. Especially when the emergence of impromptu meeting spaces and heads down mode which are an increasing part of collaboration.
