Nobody likes cleaning up before sitting down to make a video call, so Microsoft came up with a better solution and will soon offer to replace your background during a Microsoft Teams call.

Improving video calls has mainly focused on ensuring the call never drops while incrementally enhancing the video quality. Now, Microsoft is turning its attention to features that you’ll appreciate as nice-to-haves, with the latest being an instant background replacement option.
You may remember last month Microsoft added background blur to Skype calls. Well now that blurring effect is being enhanced further and customized backgrounds will arrive later this year for Microsoft Teams’ video calls.
