Ministry of Health Buys Its Own Robot Called Beam to Cut Back on Travel Time and Costs

The Ministry of Health has a new toy – a remote-controlled screen on wheels called Beam.

The almost $3000 investment is for senior staff to use in meetings.

Chief Technology and Digital Services Officer Ann-Marie Cavanagh said Beam is an “option to replace current video conferencing, which is fixed to the wall”.
