A couple of weeks ago, during a spectacular display of just how inflexible and ill-prepared I truly was for the task at hand, my right leg was broken. Among the many things this impaired in my day-to-day life, I found myself unable to attend one of my favorite tech events of the year, the Big Android BBQ. Fortunately for me, the folks responsible for the event saw this as an opportunity to try something new. Instead of delivering my presentation in person like I normally do, I would instead be roaming the halls of the Hurst convention center from my laptop in Baltimore, courtesy of a telepresence robot.
