Panacast videoconferencing cameras have been made interoperable with what is said to be the world’s first backwards-compatible USB 3.1 extender system that supports distance of up to 100 metres over a single CAT6a/7 cable. The announcement was made by Panacast vendor Jabra and Icron, manufacturer of the USB 3-2-1 Raven 3104 extender system.
