May 24, 2016, Irvine, CA – Phoenix Audio Technologies announced today that the company will be doing live demonstrations of the Condor Beamforming Microphone Array at InfoComm this year in Las Vegas. The revolutionary microphone array was designed to declutter conference rooms by providing an all-in-one audio solution for videoconferencing.
“Last year at InfoComm, we launched the Condor, and it was very well received. It was named Best of Show by AV Technology, rAVe Publications, and Telepresence Options. It was also included in rAVe’s Top 10 Tour Guide for new products,” says Joseph Marash, Phoenix Audio CEO. “This year, we’ll have a live demo of the Condor for visitors at our booth. The Condor will be showcased via live video call from our office in California, where visitors will be able to hear the Condor’s pickup capabilities from close proximity, as well as full coverage of an entire conference room.”
The Condor will also be displayed in other booths at the show. Zoom (N2627) will have a Condor on display, as a part of its Zoom Room solution. Zoom recently certified the Condor for use with its solution, as it complements the Zoom Rooms clean and clutter-free concept. PTZOptics (N2133), known for its USB, HDMI and HD-SDI live streaming cameras, will also exhibit the Condor. Together, the two companies offer a cost-effective solution for any cloud-based videoconferencing software.
Phoenix Audio Technologies will be located in the North Hall at Booth #N2447. In addition to having a live demo of the Condor, Phoenix Audio will be demonstrating our daisy chaining features of the Spider Conference Phones to cover large collaboration spaces and the new SIP Dialer app for iOS devices. To schedule a one-on-one briefing or demo of the Condor, please call 818.937.4774 or submit your request on the website.
About The Condor
The Condor is a 48-inch wide multi-microphone array with a pickup range of up to 30 feet. It includes a built-in SIP phone, which can be controlled using a dedicated application that runs on smart devices. The Condor deploys multiple directional audio beams, covering an entire room. An additional short range beam picks up audio from presenters standing close to the array. The Condor can easily connect to any video conferencing system, and use any type of speakers, including external soundbars or your monitor’s internal speakers. It is DSP-based with a full suite of algorithms that operate on each of the beams, including echo and noise cancellation. The Condor is ideal for a variety of videoconferencing platforms, such as Cisco, Zoom, Skype for Business, and Vidyo.
