Rima Group Chooses TrueConf to Connect Offices in Brazil

Rima Group, the leading manufacturer of silicon-based alloys in Brazil and the only primary magnesium producer in the Southern Hemisphere, has implemented TrueConf Server for everyday video conferences between company branches.

August 14, 2014 – Rima Group is a large industrial company based in Brazil with nine offices in different cities. TrueConf Server will help Rima Group staff to conduct video conferencing sessions between their offices, optimizing communication and the process of decision-making around the country.

According to Rima Group’s spokesperson, their decision to invest in TrueConf Server was based on price-to-quality ratio. The company’s top necessity was HD video conferencing over their LAN (Intranet). Having thoroughly tested TrueConf and other solutions that required costly hardware, Rima Industrial executive management made the decision to purchase TrueConf Server.

As a part of the license, TrueConf Server for Rima Group features all kinds of group video conferences with resolution up to 4K (UltraHD) on all popular operating systems (Windows, Linux, OS X, Android, iOS), a WebRTC client with IM, collaboration tools (such as presentations and desktop sharing) and scheduling. Now, all the company’s offices are connected through a dedicated MPLS network, while TrueConf Server is installed at the headquarters in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It is used every day for communication between the office staff and for conducting meetings.

“We are very satisfied with TrueConf software as well as with its technical support. We recommend it,” says Daniel Kaukal, IT Director of Rima Group.

“Rima Group, as a large and broadly distributed company, needed a high-quality, safe, fast and easy way for employees to communicate between different offices. Organizing face-to-face meetings, business trips and telephone calls cannot fully satisfy this need,” says Michael Gotalsky, TrueConf CEO. “Video conferencing, on the other hand, is the perfect solution for such a case. It saves time and increases the efficiency of staff meetings and negotiations. We are very pleased that TrueConf Server has been selected among the variety of other video conferencing solutions available at the global market, and that it now helps Rima Group solve problems every day.”
