Service embedded for cloud collaboration customers who use Cisco, Polycom and TIPT
Telstra has launched a new business-to-business video service which gives Cloud customers access to high definition video communication.
Telstra’s ‘business to business’ video will give Cloud collaboration customers access to high definition video calling capabilities that can be used between meeting rooms, on browsers, at a desk and on mobile devices across a range of products.
Business to business video is now embedded for Telstra’s Cloud collaboration customers who use Cisco, Polycom and TIPT for their voice and content sharing.
The move follows Telstra’s partnership with Cisco to house the Californian networking giant’s ‘global intercloud’ in its Australian datacentres.
Telstra global enterprise and services, executive director global products and solutions, Philip Jones, said the new capability would make it easier for customers to expand their video calling to a wider business community. “For some time we’ve seen the power and growth of video applications among consumers,” he said.
