TrueConf has launched a new, enhanced version of the cross-platform client application for Linux and OS X, TrueConf 1.3.0.
July 7 2015, Moscow – This version includes all capabilities available in the TrueConf client for Windows.
This was made possible through converting the Slide Show feature, implementing support both for telephony and displaying user groups in the Address Book on Linux and OS X. Previously, these capabilities were available only to users of TrueConf for Windows.
The updated Trueconf 1.3.0 delivers a simplified user experience which has been unified with TrueConf clients for mobile devices. All main controls are now presented on four tabs (Address Book, Conference Manager, list of active chat and call history), located to the right of the video window.
A dialer has been added to the Address Book to enable users to call subscribers during a video conferencing session as well as outside of it. Now you can create and edit user groups in the Address Book and find necessary users through quick search. A new search mechanism also allows customers to easily find H.323, SIP or video conferencing endpoints connected to the TrueConf system.
Other notable updates include support for automatic gain control (AGC), the ability to take a photo and set it as an avatar, and notification of missed calls.
