Enterprise Connect is right around the corner and unified communications (UC) vendors are gearing up to announce their latest products and services. This year, more than 175 companies will exhibit in the Enterprise Connect expo hall to showcase their latest offerings, ranging from analytics to collaboration to video. Read on for a sampling of the UC service and product announcements coming out of this year’s conference.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise will exhibit its updated OpenTouch Suite for enhanced mobile collaboration. OpenTouch Suite combines telephony services, instant messaging, Web conferencing and HD video onto a single application to simplify collaboration, whether employees are at their desks or on the road.
The OpenTouch Conference application is a cloud-based audio conferencing service that removes the need for access codes and offers greater control over conference calls. The OpenTouch Conversation application aims to make it easier to communicate across devices by seamlessly moving calls from the phone to the tablet to the video conferencing endpoint.
Blue Jeans Network
Cloud-based video conferencing provider Blue Jeans Network will showcase its Blue Jeans Relay service, which promises to automate the conference room experience.
