When patients with high-risk cancer have limited access to registered dieticians, it may be difficult for them to follow through on a nutrition plan set by their health care team. However, a recent study of a program launched by the Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) in Charlotte, North Carolina, found that telenutrition services can be a beneficial alternative.
