Videxio’s New Streaming & Recording Feature Lets You Reach a Wider Audience

April, 21 2017, Oslo, Norway – Today we’re excited to announce the launch of Videxio Live, our new Streaming and Recording feature which is fully integrated into our cloud videoconferencing service.

While the power of videoconferencing to help companies communicate more effectively is indisputable, we also know that sometimes it’s not possible to reach absolutely everyone you want to in one video meeting or conference event. With Videxio Live, our customers will be able to use the Videxio service for more than just great quality videoconferencing; now they’ll be able to stream and record their sessions. Whether it’s for a company all-hands meeting, discussion panels, training courses, or simply to bring someone up to date who couldn’t attend the meeting, users will be able to stream and record their video events.

As Tom-Erik Lia, CEO of Videxio commented, “For us, Videxio Live, was a natural next step. It lets users of our cloud video service use the solution they already have to stream and record their events and the good news is that Videxio is compatible with more than 10 different third-party streaming/recording platforms, including industry leaders such as YouTube, Facebook Live, Periscope, Qumu and Kaltura. That means no extra expense, no extra resources and no need for complicated infrastructure.”

“Cloud solutions like Videxio Live are becoming a more broadly accepted approach to enabling the streaming and recording of a variety of corporate events, ranging from all-hands employee meetings to training seminars,” said Steve Vonder Haar, a senior analyst with Wainhouse Research. “With the launch of its new streaming and recording solution, Videxio has demonstrated the ability to extend their core competency in video to the world of streaming and recording business communications applications.”

According to Videxio customer Wrigley, “We have been using Videxio’s streaming solution integrated with YouTube for our monthly all-hands and it has shown to be a very reliable and effective way to reach out to our organization who are located all over the world. Using YouTube ensures easy access for everybody anywhere in the world with no limitations on participants.”

Videxio Live can be ordered through our channel partners today.
