  • Fully compatible with MS Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, CORE is specifically designed for boardroom settings while BASE is optimised for smaller spaces such as huddle or VIP rooms. CORE and BASE provide cost-effective solutions for scalability, coming at a fraction of the cost of traditional setups.
  • BOBST, one of the world’s leading suppliers of packaging equipment and services, is in the process of rolling out Visible CORE in its meeting rooms at its headquarters in Switzerland.

July 5, 2023, Geneva, Switzerland – Visible is thrilled to unveil two ground-breaking video conferencing devices set to transform the way teams collaborate and interact in hybrid meetings. Visible CORE and Visible BASE are specifically designed to address the ergonomic challenges faced during hybrid meetings, fight proximity bias, and deliver a natural video conferencing experience that seamlessly integrates in-person and remote participants, and creates an engaging experience where every participant feels fully engaged and included.

CORE and BASE set new standards with cutting-edge features. Equipped with four 5MP cameras and four ultra-sharp AMOLED displays, CORE and BASE provide stunning visual clarity, enabling participants to see every detail with exceptional precision. The smart framing app, with its multiple faces detection per camera and participants grid management, allows high-resolution 360° capture of all in-person participants and ensures optimal framing and visibility for remote participants who transition from being mere observers to becoming active contributors, fully engaged in the conversation.

CORE circular and infinite shape (30cm/12in” ⌀, 1:1 flexible displays), is an ideal fit for meeting rooms accommodating 6 to 10 people, while BASE (cubical, 20cm/8in” width, 3:4 flat displays) is designed for 4 in-person participants such as huddle or VIP rooms.

CORE and BASE are fully compatible with Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms, making deployment into these leading AV ecosystems effortless and highly scalable at a fraction of the usual cost. Thanks to the multi-camera support announced by Microsoft, clients and integrators will be able to deploy multiple Visible devices in medium and large rooms.

CORE is enterprise ready and working as a peripheral with Rooms systems. First tests of CORE with Visible’s clients were validated on Lenovo and Crestron MTR-certified computers. CORE’s production is set to start in Q3 2023 while BASE’s is slated for Q1 2024. CORE’s recommended price is set at CHF 9’500 and BASE’s at CHF 4’500.

“We want our devices to hit the market quickly as we see hybrid work being at risk and all its societal and environmental benefits potentially falling by the wayside. We’re not just speaking of seamless collaboration as an abstract idea. We emphasise the indispensable role of face-to-face experiences in fostering it.” said Raphaël Briner, Founder and CEO of Visible.

“Our calculations indicate that if hybrid work is embraced for two days a week, every rolled out Visible device, serving 50 people on average, can save as much as 15T of CO2 per year (out of 40T). That’s the equivalent of the CO2 captured by 700 trees (and 3000 trees if we take hybrid work, optimised office space and hot desking) .” added Raphaël Briner.

On 22 June, CORE and BASE made their highly anticipated debut at an event held at our client’s BOBST in Switzerland. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from key participants, including executives, workplace practitioners, architects, and media representatives which further validates CORE’s and BASE’s potential to transform hybrid workspaces and reinvent the way teams collaborate.

When asked about how Visible’s solutions will integrate in BOBST’s workplace strategy, Stéphane Mader, Head of Group Marketing & Communications and Digital/Physical Workplace Project Lead said: “As a leading company supplying equipment and services to the packaging and label industry, we’re at the forefront of innovation to meet our customers’ expectations. Having successfully implemented our digital workplace program, we’re now rethinking the 1,000 physical workplaces at our headquarters in Switzerland. Our aim is to provide our employees with the best possible experience in a state-of-the-art workplace that fosters innovation. Visible’s solution was the missing component in our meeting room concept. We also foresee extending Visible’s solutions to most of our subsidiaries worldwide.”
